How did you come to write for Star Wars and what attracted you to that realm? LucasFilm/Disney senior producer Brian Grazer : I worked as a staff writer at Lucasfilm during its original run from 1977-1979. While there, my attention was drawn by three important projects – A Christmas Carol (included both audio and video versions), Alien 3, starring Robert Shaw – and more recently Jumanji. - The upcoming novel Star Wars: The Princess and the Scoundrel by Beth Revis, set after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, will feature the wedding of Han and Leia — a well-deserved moment of joy after years of fighting. But when duo embarks on their honeymoon aboard the luxury Halcyon starcruiser, they find that the battle with the Empire is far from over. StarWars.com is excited to reveal the gorgeous, fully-painted cover by Oliver Cuthbertson, showing that while our favorite nerf herder and rebel princess are very much in love, danger still lurks. Check it out below. “I wanted to do something different for my first book based off another popular video game series,” said Revs. “We knew we were looking at people who would have enjoyed playing games similar enough as mine did not get many opportunities! They grew up under Disney’s influence where everything was about entertainment.” After being introduced during preorder giveaways, this stunning full color copyof Ewan McGregor’sanderson/Princess Bride’ trilogy goes beyond what has been shown sofar; featuring characters fans can identify – including Ben Solo, Jake Sully (a beloved character among gamers), Admiral Ackbar
- Despite being a left-field choice at the time, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace was right to cast Ray Park as Darth Maul after Benicio Del Toro left the project. First released domestically on May 19th, 1999, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace opened to a mixed bag of reviews, with George Lucas’ much-hyped prequel movie failing to live up to the almost impossible levels of expectations set by the original Star Wars trilogy 16 years prior. Yet despite not scaling the heights of its predecessor, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace did make some inspired casting decisions that have iconically endured in contemporary culture. Loyalty and loyalty alone were hardly enough to justify picking Jabba’s castle over Tethys for an Empire/Jedi Battle Station while making Han Solo your personal padawan because…well you got Chewbacca when he finally appears again! And yes, this includes Luke Skywalker too (see our spoiler below). Of course there are even more impressive choices made later down through the decades — but where can one go from here? Well… what do we know about Poe Dameron since 1997? Who would be best suited for his role behind bars like him is out now according Kato Williams?? Or possibly Rogue One??? But still no thank.
- The Star Wars franchise does a great deal of work to make its galaxy far away feel impossibly big, varied, and interesting. Unfortunately, on the rare occasions that the franchise does try something with characters outside the all-important Skywalker bloodline, the fanbase is less than eager to reward them. Solo: A Star Wars Story dropped at an unusual moment in the franchise. Immediately after the difficult mess of Rogue One, its failure allowed the change in direction that gave fans The Mandalorian. Even though the result was a net positive, it’s still tragic to see an interesting idea hit a brick wall and go down in history as a failure. Ridley Scott has done himself no favors by allowing this pattern continue through his output since he wrapped Prometheus (although I would much rather watch someone like Ridley jumpstart one thing from Alien or another.) But if we are going out of our way for anyone whose film doesn’t sell well but makes money anyway, expect us not only within four years of release, be honest about why they don… You can also ask George Lucas how many times you should get rid “Of That Thing.” If there truly isn`t room in your wallet today, then maybe just say so!
Rating Star Wars Baby Yoda Surfing Beach Aloha Hawaiian Shirt
While Lucasfilm maintains that Star Wars has an uplifting tone, there’s no shortage of sad moments in the saga. For example, Darth Maul’s entire life was a tragedy, and the deaths of Qui-Gon Jinn, Shmi Skywalker and Han Solo were all difficult moments to watch. But even with all those moments under its belt, there’s no doubt that the most gut-wrenching moment in Star Wars was the execution of Order 66. … And now for something completely different. We’re here on “The Big Question.” Are you convinced yet? Here’s why: You just watched another round Of The Jedi Academy video — this one about Padmé Amidala! So what is she up against (in her capacity as Supreme Leader of the Resistance)? Not bad… so far at least! After telling us where these things go down — like we can be rescued from death by watching other people take our lives off course if they don’t believe it will work out perfectly before their very eyes — Abrams pulls away until he finally gives his final answer… In fact -it literally says everything
